Some school systems follow a 12 year system. If you are transferring from a 12 year system, we have provided a table on this page to help you identify the equivalent year group on entry.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nAs per <a href=\"https:\/\/web.khda.gov.ae\/en\/Guides\/Parents\/Faq\/FAQs-on-changes-to-age-requirements-for-2021-22\" target=\"_blank\">KHDA guidelines<\/a> applicable since August 2021, a child's year group on entry is determined by their age on 31 August of their year of entry.
