In a special A-Level results day episode of Eye on Education, Annette Drake, Head of Senior School at Repton Dubai, joined by graduate Zain Junaidi, shared their reflections on this important milestone.<\/p>\n
Annette celebrated the school\u2019s impressive results, with 62% of students achieving A\u2013B* and a value-added score of 1.25, meaning pupils exceeded their predicted grades by more than one level on average. She praised the commitment of all learners and reassured families that each student\u2019s journey is valued, regardless of starting point.<\/p>\n
Zain, who secured three A*s and one A in maths, physics, chemistry, and biology, expressed his relief at gaining a place to study law at UCL. He admitted feeling uncertain about one exam but credited thorough preparation and resilience with his success.<\/p>\n
Annette also spoke about the fast pace of results day, with limited time before university starts, and encouraged students to remain calm, seek guidance, and remember that there are many pathways to success \u2013 from foundation courses to gap years, or even through remarking and clearing.<\/p>\n
