The outstanding performances by this year\u2019s cohort have resulted in overwhelming offers from Russell Group institutions and some of the highest-ranking universities in the world, including The University of St Andrews, University College London, Emory University, Imperial College London, Georgia Institute of Technology and The University of Manchester, to name but a few. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite wavering industry-wide frustration resulting from the\nunfortunate cancellation of the IB examinations due to the Covid-19 pandemic,\nReptonians displayed first-class performances in their final internal\nassessments, reinforcing the Repton DNA of the relentless and rigorous pursuit\nof achieving academic excellence. This year,&nbsp;27% of Repton Dubai students\nachieved&nbsp;40 points or more in the Diploma programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">David Cook, Headmaster at Repton Dubai and Chief Education\nOfficer of the Repton Family of Schools in the UAE, expressed his elation on\nthe students\u2019 outstanding results: \u201cAt Repton Dubai, passion, dedication and\ndetermination are just some of the values we instil in our students right from\nan early age. Our teachers consist of passionate educators focused on\ndeveloping the whole child, through academic, creative and sporting arenas. We\nencourage our students to dream big and provide them with the appropriate\nlearning tools to achieve those dreams. This year, despite the overlying\nchallenges, our students have once again persevered, scoring an average of36.2 points in the IB Diploma, which is well&nbsp;above\nthe global benchmark. I would like to congratulate the graduating IB cohort on\ntheir progressive attainments and wish them the very best of luck in their\nfuture endeavours.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aspiring to become a psychologist, Head Girl, Pavani Duggal\nscored an outstanding 45 points and will head to the University of St Andrews\nto focus on her undergraduate Psychology studies. Inspired to make a difference\nin people\u2019s lives, Ayesha Duhra gracefully received offers from Queen Mary\nUniversity of London and Imperial College London, with the latter becoming her\nfinal destination to read medicine, upon attaining44 points. Furthermore, Maria Touma will\nstudy Medicine at St Andrews, following an exceptional 44 points achievement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repton Dubai particularly notes\noutstanding student Amrit Gill (44 points) who received offers from The\nUniversity of Edinburgh, Durham University, The University of York to study\nPsychology and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London to study\nDance Science. All of this alongside undertaking advanced ballet examinations,\nHarp assessments and learning Mandarin. Amrit will pursue her further education\nin Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Head Boy, Adam Nasser and Deputy Head Boy, Quddus Pativada have demonstrated the innovative spirit of\nthis year\u2019s graduates<strong>.<\/strong> The exceptionally talented and eager\nstudents have received offers from world-renowned universities, including the\nUniversity of Warwick, UC Berkeley and University College London. The aspiring\nyoung entrepreneurs, however, have taken a bold decision to take a break year\nfrom formal education to focus on developing their ingenious start-up business,\na smart learning platform, and further explore the intricacies of\nentrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is also pleasing to note that Repton once again caters\nsuperbly for its local, Emirati student body. For example, it is exciting to\nstate that Saud Qawam achieved a record-breaking 40 points in the Diploma\nprogramme and will head to Georgia Institute of Technology to study Aerospace\nengineering. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repton School Dubai is proud to offer the IB Career-Related\nProgramme to allow its students to focus upon their career aspirations more\nclosely. This year, all students passed this rigorous course and 86% achieved\nthe highest possible score of D*D* upon their BTEC Business studies.\nOutstanding achievements within this programme see Jamie Danks heading to\nNottingham Trent University whilst Muhammad Siddique Ali Pirzada makes his way\nto Durham University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repton School Dubai, part of the\nRepton Family of Schools in the UAE has consistently enjoyed academic success\nat university level, sending students to world-renowned universities including\nThe University of Oxford, King\u2019s\nCollege London, London School of Economics, Stanford University, Columbia\nUniversity, New York University, St Johns Hopkins and The University of\nEdinburgh<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tracy Crowder, Vice Principal\nand Head of Senior School at Repton Dubai speaking on the IB cohort\u2019s\noutstanding achievements says, \u201cAs teachers, it gives us great joy in seeing\nour students achieve extraordinary feats.
